Sisters Ashley Schiller and Nicole Flier have been running Healthy Connections in downtown Aitkin since June but ownership became official just last week. They said the business will run on the same concept it was running on when they took over – wellness and nutrition.

“It’s not just about weight loss,” Schiller said, adding, “We have a lot of fun offering something for everyone of every age.”

One of the staples of the business is shakes that serve as meal replacement – 38 daily shakes in 38 flavors. They also do wellness profiles and sell products to make the shakes at home. They offer information about how to get or stay healthy, depending on  a health assessment that takes 1/2 hour and includes a free shake.

Both sisters reside in the Aitkin area and graduated from Aitkin High School – Schiller in 2005 and Flier in 2002. Their business is located near Thrifty White and Subway. For more information, call Ashley or Nicole at 218-429-0116.
