The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and the Minnesota Vikings have teamed up for the 18th annual Arctic Blast snowmobile rally.
The event will be held Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 9-10, at Mille Lacs Lake. Participants will snowmobile with former Vikings players and have the chance to win $30,000 in prizes.
The weekend will kick off with a community pancake breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs Events & Convention Center. Activities will include autographs and pictures with current Vikings players, visits from the Vikings cheerleaders and mascot, inflatable interactive games, face painting, and balloons.
For every breakfast purchased during the event, $1 will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of 10,000 Lakes/Mille Lacs Band branches. The Vikings will donate to the organization as well.
