cookbook we made in elementary school.
It’s my husband’s favorite.”
French cherry cream cheese pie
1 package graham crackers
1/3 cup melted butter
1/3 cup sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 pint whipping cream, whipped or 8 ounces Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling
Crush graham crackers and mix with melted butter and sugar. Press in 9-inch pie plate and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Let cool. Have the cream cheese at room temperature and mix with powdered sugar using electric mixer. Add whipped cream or Cool Whip. Spoon into graham cracker crust. Spoon cherry pie filling over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate about 3 hours before serving.
