Local Food

David Abazs, executive director of the NE Region U of MN Extension Regional Sustainable Development Partnership, owner of Round River Farm, and co-author of the local food study will be presenting at a regional event hosted by the Grand Rapids Free Range Food Cooperative.

The May 9 event, “A conversation about the future of local food and farming” is open to the public.  It starts at 6 p.m. at the Grand Rapids Public Library.

The Free Range Food Cooperative would love to have voices of growers, buyers and others with an interest in local food included in this conversation.

If you haven’t seen the study yet, check it out here: https://www.irpsmn.org/localfood
