If this piques your interest, you are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 1-4 p.m. at Central Lakes College, 501 West College Dr., Brainerd, in the Small Business Development Center, room E203. Attend to learn more about the emerging hazelnut industry. All are welcome. Attendance is free.

The University of Minnesota Regional Sustainable Development Partnership has been collaborating with the Upper Midwest Hazelnut Development Initiative and Forever Green to research the growing hazelnut industry and the emerging opportunity in the Midwest for growing hazelnuts.

Information will be shared at this free meeting for those who might be interested in growing hazelnuts as a new crop for northern Minnesota.
