Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge will host its first annual Bluegrass Festival from 5-9 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24. The event which features three bluegrass bands and an all-you-can-eat picnic is presented by Bent Paddle Brewing Co., Duluth.

The lineup is headlined by Minnesota-based quartet The Barley Jacks, fronted by fiddler Brian Wicklund. The band features fiddle, guitar, bass and drums and is a mix of traditional and modern folk bluegrass. Sloughgrass, a family bluegrass band from Birchdale, Minn., opens for The Barley Jacks. The Isaac Gadient duo will perform on the second stage during the all-you-can-eat picnic.
