Athletic/academic banquet held, scholarships and awards presented

Liz Dean, a 1993 graduate of McGregor High School, was the guest speaker at the McGregor athletic/academic banquet held May 8.

Dean addressed the students and a packed cafeteria with three principles she took away from the school and her teachers: Determination, team work and curiosity. She asked, “What is life like beyond high school? What do you want to do with your life?”
