McGregor School

At a meeting Oct. 21, the McGregor School Board acknowledged donations totaling $2,746.

A school supply drive from Grand Timber Bank provided $146, the McGregor Lions Club donated $300, the McGregor Fire Department donated $300, the Tamarack Presbyterian Guild donated $2,000, and winter clothing was provided by the Knights of Columbus and the Salvation Army.

A resolution passed, establishing combined polling places for multiple precincts during school district elections not held on the day of statewide elections.

Curriculum items for grades 4-6 were purchased for $23,463 from Heinemann.

A presentation about vaping was held at the school on Oct. 20.

The business manager announced the audit has finished, and is awaiting a draft copy.


• A leave of absence was approved for Suzanne Fredrickson.

• Policy 490, concerning educational program volunteers, was discussed.
