This Saturday night, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m., “The Mystery Mountain Boys” from Isanti County and the surrounding area will present a concert at the Malmo Evangelical Free Church.
The Mystery Mountain Boys are made up of five members. These men play a wide variety of stringed instruments including fiddle, banjo, dobro, guitar, bass guitar and drums. All these members have played extensively over the state of Minnesota. They play mostly bluegrass and gospel music.
They will provide a fun evening of instrumental and vocal harmony and sing along faith-based music.
Come and sing along to a variety of old-time favorites as well as some new songs.
Come as you are and bring a lawn chair to enjoy Malmo Church’s 25th year of great music in the out of doors. In case of rain or excessive heat the concert will be inside the air-conditioned church. Refreshments will be available and a free will offering will be received.
Malmo church is located near the junction of Hwys. 47 and 18 on Hwy. 18 near the north east corner of Lake Mille Lacs.
These concerts are every Saturday evening so plan on a summer filled with gospel music.
