“Be helpful. When you see a person without a smile, give them yours.” — Zig Ziglar

Many studies show that smiling can elevate your mood and the mood of those around you. Other studies show that smiling, whether real joy or just an act, can have both short and long-term benefits on health and well-being. Consider today how you can help boost someone’s well-being, just by smiling at them. It will benefit you too. Smiling is a great way to make a positive difference in your life, and in the lives of others. If you are interested in doing “double-duty” - smiling and serving others – please consider volunteering. If you would like more information on volunteer opportunities available, please feel free to give Cathy at Volunteer Services a call, 218-879-9238. Volunteer services will work with you to find a volunteer opportunity that is well suited to you. Volunteers serve in just about every wonderful way imaginable. Just a few opportunities are listed below.
