Hill City Police Department

Chief Joshua Kimball, 17 years of service; Jeff Madsen, 20 years of service; Jeremy Nelson, 16 years of service; and Ron Saxton, nine years of service (not pictured: Matthew Blair, three years of service).

The Hill City Police Department consists of one full-time officer and four part-time officers. The police department is an active member of the Itasca County Towards Zero Death Coalition (TZD), Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association and Northern Law Enforcement Executive Administration Council. Through these associations the police department has received thousands of dollars in police equipment free of charge. The police department has been teaching D.A.R.E since 2006 in the Hill City School.
