Social worker Kim Olesen and RN Brenda Laughton from HomeHealth Partnership Hospice, Crosby, will present a program entitled “The Misconceptions and Benefits of Hospice” on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. at the American Legion, Aitkin.

The Home Health Partnership’s Hospice team is committed to supporting the goals of their patients and their families. It encourages families to be involved in all care decisions.

This presentation is sponsored by Aitkin County TRIAD, which is a collaboration of senior citizens and law enforcement working together to make the community a better place to live.

TRIAD meets monthly and sponsors a program to benefit the community three times a year. Following the presentation, a free lunch will be served.
