Tim Piispanen (shown at right) was in the United States Army as an E-4 combat engineer, serving a tour in Iraq in 2003. Presenting Tim with his quilt was friend Ben Stein. The quilt was made by Terri Stein for Quilts of Valor for Ripple River Quilt Guild.
Jim Fisher was in the United States Air Force, serving as an Airman First Class. The quilt was made by Terri Stein with Quilts of Valor for the Ripple River Quilt Guild.
