Karleen Merona Bleeker (Fossum), 77, Aitkin, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Aicota Health Care Center, Aitkin.

Karleen was born Sept. 15, 1942 in Aitkin to Marius and Vivian (Lehrke) Holm. She graduated from Aitkin High School. Karleen worked at Aicota Health Care Center for 38 years and the 40 Club Restaurant for 25 years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Aitkin. Karleen enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and especially spending as much time as possible with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Karleen was preceded in death by her parents, Marius and Vivian Holm and the father of her children, Roger Bleeker; sister, Jeanette Landrus.

Karleen is survived by her children: Mark (Lynn) Bleeker, Mike (Sue) Bleeker, Tracy Weston, and Penny (Mike) Connoy; grandchildren: Amy Young, Jesse Young, Nicole Wood, Amanda Webber, Dan Bleeker, Melissa Heavirland, Kyle Bleeker and Lauren Huset; great-grandchildren: Parker, Kylee, McKenzie, Presley, Deydriana, Connor, Everly, Violet, Florence, Jesse Junior, Charlie, Ashlyn, Alice, Felix and Sam; brother, Dale (Karen) Holm; sister, Diana (Vernon) Backstrom.

Services will be Saturday, Aug. 1 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor David Becker officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
