The Aitkin County WorkForce Center is changing its name to CareerForce. Throughout the state, Minnesota’s WorkForce Centers are changing their name to CareerForce. Bringing all of Minnesota’s workforce system partners under one brand will enhance the services provided to career seekers, employers and communities.

“Our goal is to partner with career seekers and employers to deliver prosperous outcomes,” said Kari Paulsen, Career Counselor with NE MN Office of Job Training. “CareerForce is the result of extensive outreach with workforce system participants, employers, workforce staff and non-profit partners throughout the state who shared insights on how to improve service delivery and outcomes.”

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), together with the Minnesota Association of Workforce Boards (MAWB) and the Governor’s Workforce Development Board (GWDB), began a multi-month rollout of the CareerForce rebranding initiative in late 2018. Bringing together all elements of Minnesota’s workforce system under the CareerForce name will increase efficiency, improve communication and enhance collaboration between CareerForce staff and partners.

“Working better together will help prepare and connect more workers with careers that sustain families and strengthen communities,” said Paulsen. “And it will help Minnesota employers find the employees they need to grow their businesses and keep Minnesota’s economy strong.”

Visitors and callers to the CareerForce location in Aitkin County will witness enhanced service delivery, an improved customer experience and streamlined employer services as the rollout continues over the following months.

Visitors to https://www.careerforcemn.com/ can search job postings, plus access innovative career planning tools, workforce development resources and labor market information. Ongoing and significant enhancements are planned for the site through 2019.
