Appearing in Aitkin County Court before Judge David Hermerding on April 6, 8, 13, 22 and 24; Judge Kristine DeMay on April 9; and Judge John Solien on April 18:

Jesse J. Berwald, 43, Pine City, was sentenced on disorderly conduct; pay $212. Dismissed charges were felony possession of burglary tools, felony failure to appear and giving peace officer false name.

James A. Huse, 42, Aitkin, was sentenced of felony violate no contact order; serve 90 days; credit for 32 days served; pay $487. A similar charge was dismissed.

Debra J. Pratt-Nelson, 61, Crystal River, Fla., was sentenced on felony 1st degree DWI; credit for 182 days served. Dismissed charges were felony 1st degree DWI and Driving After Revocation.

Terry L. Simon Jr., 47, Sandstone, received a statutory stay of adjudication on 5th degree controlled substance possession; credit for 78 days served; pay $750. He was also sentenced on 4th degree DWI; credit for 78 days; pay $162. Dismissed charges were intent to escape tax, 4th degree DWI illegal use of plates, no proof of insurance and DAR.

Joseph A. Crawford, 28, Aitkin, received a stay of imposition on felony threats of violence; credit for 37 days; pay $562. A charge of felony violate order for protection was dismissed.

James A. Hage, 35, Lino Lakes, was sentenced on felony 3rd degree burglary; committed to commissioner of corrections for 30 months concurrent with another case; pay $337. Dismissed charges were felony theft and felony 1st degree criminal damage to property.

Stephan Karkoc, 32, Ramsey, was sentenced on felony violate no contract order; committed to commissioner of corrections for 24 months; pay $137. Dismissed charges were felony kidnapping, felony violate no contact order (4) and felony false imprisonment. He was sentenced on another felony violate no contact order; committed to commissioner of corrections for 24 months; pay $137.

Reginald L. Morrow, 19, Minneapolis, was sentenced on speeding 65/55; pay $127. He was also sentenced on possession of drug paraphernalia; pay $50. A charge of Driving After Suspension was dismissed.

Dale V. Preston, 38, McGregor, received a statutory stay of adjudication on felony 5th degree controlled substance possession; credit for 30 days; pay $1,075. Dismissed charges were possession of hypodermic needle, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony 3rd degree assault (2), felony child endangerment and possession of small amount of marijuana. He also received a stay of imposition on felony child endangerment; serve 120 days; credit for 53 days; pay $662. Dismissed charges were felony store  methamphetamine paraphernalia in the presence of a child, 5th degree controlled substance possession, domestic assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael J. Stewart, 40, Wright,  was sentenced on theft, pay $50.

Adam Z. Whitefeather, 25, Isle, received a stay of imposition on felony domestic assault; serve 90 days; credit for 41 days; STS/Huber as allowed; pay $662. Dismissed charges were possession of hypodermic needle and 4th degree criminal damage to property.
