Appearing in Aitkin County Court before Judge David Hermerding on Jan. 15, 21, 22, 24 and 27:

Thomas R. McCartan, 53, Aitkin, was sentenced on 3rd degree DWI; serve 30 days or 45 days electronic monitoring; credit for 3 days served; pay $1,012. A similar charge was dismissed.

Ash-leigh A. Philippi, 20, Aitkin, was sentenced on minor consumption; pay $187.

Jeremy A. Benedict, 39, Ramsey, received a stay of imposition on felony felon in possession of firearm; serve 45 days or 90 days electronic monitoring; credit for 2 days; pay $587. Dismissed charges were felony felon in possession of firearm, felony felon in possession of ammunition (2), possession of over 1.4 grams marijuana in motor vehicle, and speeding 69/60.

Kelly A. Bomier, 48, Wayzata, was sentenced on speeding 65/60; pay $127.

Joshua P. Johnson, 38, Aitkin, was sentenced on careless driving; pay $337. Dismissed charges were two counts of DWI.

Cassandra L. Losh, 29, Deer River, was sentenced on Driving After Suspension; serve 15 days; credit for time served; STS/Huber as allowed; pay $87. She was also sentenced on DAS; same conditions; pay $137.

Brian A. Miller, 19, Ham Lake, received a stay of adjudication on theft; credit for 12 days; pay $175.

James E. Moy, 76, Waverly, was sentenced on fail to upgrade, repair, replace or abandon; pay $137.

Taylor J. Mus, 21, Champlin, received a stay of adjudication on 5th degree controlled substance possession; credit for 2 days; pay $175.  A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.

Seth A. Raisch, 35, Duluth, was sentenced on felony predator offender-knowlingly commits act or fails to fulfill registration requirement; committed to commissioner of corrections 31 months; pay $212.

Zachary P. Ralph, 27, McGregor, received a stay of imposition on felony 4th degree assault; credit for 43 days; pay $687. He was also convicted on 3rd degree DWI refuse to test; credit for 43 days; pay $50. Dismissed charges were 4th degree DWI, no proof of insurance, disorderly conduct and possession of small amount of marijuana.
