Motorists traveling on Hwy. 210, between Crow Wing County Road 32 and Hwy. 169 in the city of Aitkin, should plan for delays when a detour begins Wednesday, June 5.
The closure and detour is necessary to allow the city of Aitkin to work below Hwy. 210 near Seventh Ave. NW/Aitkin County Road 41 in Aitkin.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Hwy. 210 will close to through traffic between Crow Wing County Road 32, about six miles west of Aitkin and the signalized intersection of Hwy. 169/Minnesota Ave. in Aitkin. Motorists are to follow a signed detour along Crow Wing County Road 32, Aitkin County Road 15 and Minnesota Ave. N in Aitkin.
Hwy. 210 will close to all traffic at Seventh Ave. NW/Aitkin County Road 41 in Aitkin.
All lanes on Hwy. 210 to reopen by June 21, 2019. The schedule is based on good weather conditions.
The work is part of a larger city of Aitkin project to reconstruct city sewer and water beneath segments of Seventh Ave. NW, First St. NW and Sixth Ave. NW in Aitkin.
