National security professional Leah Phifer announced in June that she is launching an 80-day listening tour this summer to explore the possibility of ultimately representing Minnesota’s 8th Congressional district.
A member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party, Phifer views the current political environment as a unique opportunity to engage residents in planning for the long-term security of the district.
Raised in Two Harbors before relocating to Isanti, Phifer has seen many sides of Minnesota’s 8th district.
