Agnes Monica had a song out, “things will get better”, I remember part of the lyrics said something like this, I have been saying to myself, be stronger. It's just going to take a little longer. That is how I am feeling. I have been through the Bush Years, the Obama years and now the Trump years. I always had the feeling that our politicians were going a little haywire. I had a little glimmer of hope this last month someone was really going to clean the swamp. One bright event for me was when Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez celebrated the Amazon deal destruction. The reason she said she celebrated was, because of the close door deals between Amazon and Governor Andrew Cuomo and Bill DeBlasio with no public input. They gave Amazon $3 billion in tax write-offs.

The second whiff of fresh air came from Minnesota's own Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. She answered a question from a journalist about how-come the United States politicians fiercely defend a foreign country, even if it meant attacking the free-speech rights of Americans. Omar's response was quick, and I quote, “It’s all about the Benjamin's baby,” referring to $100 bills. Everyone thought she was referring to Israel lobbying efforts, namely AIPAC. The shameful part is that both Democratic and Republican leaders tried to shift her meaning from “lobbing money” to “anti-Semitic” insinuations. Congressional GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy threatens punishment for Omar because of her criticism of Israel. I knew her, “It is all about the Benjamin's baby,” referring to $100 bills had merit. When this happened. The oh-so-telling coming together of President Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had a common denunciation of the first-term member of Congresswomen Ilhan Omar. Omar’s crime as I see it, Omar is daring to suggest that campaign contributions orchestrated by AIPAC play a large part in achieving bipartisan support for anything proposed by the Israeli government and/or its lobby, AIPAC. This holds true in other lobbying efforts by our officials too, I feel. So in my estimation, these new congressional women are a breath of fresh air in the political process.

see Bass ,it's a good thing that that the news covered the Cohn testimony because Mr. Trump was leaving Vietnam "with the bare minimum that he set," being North Korea's agreement to continue refraining from nuclear and missile tests.[something he already had. oh well now he can say he was in Nam , bone spurs and all. haha [beam][beam][beam]

yep I watch the Cohen testimony, I figured whey watch trump/Un meeting, Trump will give away the store or make a embarrassing deal for the united states. why watch that when anyone with a brain can watch the summation of that meeting on the nightly news at 5:30pm. Yes I know that Cohen has lied, but then so has Trump, what's your point.?

Sounds like time well spent, watching the Cohen case. The real story today should be Trump in Vietnam. But the media is fixated on getting dirt on Trump. Same thing for the last two years.

I suppose you believe Cohan. And what is he going to jail for? yes, lying to congress.

If you think the two of them are a breath of fresh air you really need your
head examined. You must really hate America if you agree with them.
