Moscow Mitch McConnell gets really upset when the opposition started calling him "Moscow Mitch". To earn the name “Moscow Mitch”, Senate Republican leader McConnell has blocked a Democratic house bill that provide money to states, for the purpose of combating election fraud and foreign interference in our elections. It is unbelievable that he would have blocked/tabled a bill that made it easier for state election officials to cooperate with federal intelligence agencies. Especially when election fraud or interference was suspected by state officials. To top it off, "Moscow Mitch" refused to bring a bill to the Senate floor that would impose mandatory sanctions on any country that interfered in our elections. Besides Russia, here is a short list of countries that are planning on hosting “online influence operations”, in the 2020 elections, Saudi Arabia, Israel, China, the United Arab Emirates and Venezuela, Iran, researchers say.
As a U.S. sitting senator, shouldn’t you stand against another country interfering in United States elections and work to pass election security bills that prevent it?
It seems like many Republican entities have accepted money from a foreign government or people representing a foreign country. You, a sitting Senator should fight to protect our constitution like it says in the oath, when you took office. Deep down I feel that you and Trump, Marco Rubio, the RNC, RNA, Ted Cruz and any Republican brothers who took foreign money for a campaign contribution are the new American traitors. Hey Moscow Mitch and your Republican cronies! You shouldn't have turned a blind eye to Putin's interference in the 2016 election, You and your Republican Russian assets shouldn't have accepted money from Putin or his very close friends! A good example, Senator Rand Paul, who has emerged as one of Trump’s most vocal allies on Russia, recently voted against a round of Russian sanctions. This is an example how the Republican blocked a resolution last month from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) to support the intelligence community’s findings, that Russia meddled in our presidential elections. As part of its attack on the American electoral system, Russian intelligence hacked into Democratic Party systems. Some of the information it found there, was released publicly and promoted gleefully by Republicans at all levels in order to help the Trump campaign. I had to ask myself, why are nearly all Republicans united in their position that no further investigation into a hostile foreign power’s attempt to manipulate the American electoral system is necessary? Are they traitors and their followers assets because they don’t speak up. How can these hard-core Trump supporters begin to argue that, even if Russia did attack the American electoral system, it was actually a good thing because it helped Donald Trump get elected. How can the Trump voter condone and echo claims that the Squad of 44 are unpatriotic, or that Colin Kaepernick kneeling is unpatriotic, but are OK with election tampering. That my Republican friends are UNPATRIOTIC!!!!
