Knights of Columbus International Free Throw Award to Tori Oehrlein

Knights of Columbus Minnesota State Officers presented Tori Oehrlein her 2019 International Free Throw Championship Trophy Nov. 26 at Crosby-Ironton High School.

Oehrlein placed first at the local competition in Brainerd, District 2 Competition, first in the Region Seven Competition in Aitkin and first at the State Competition at St. Cloud Cathedral High School. The State Championship score sheets are forwarded to Knights of Columbus Supreme Headquarters in New Haven, Conn., to determine international champions. These trophies are awarded to 12 age groups. In 2019 there were 21 international trophy winners, two in Minnesota alone out of 100,000 participants.

Oehrlein is one of two 11-year-old girls to achieve this accomplishment.
