Steam takes first game of season

Kyle Cluff and Caiden Kjelstrom

Kyle Cluff went five innings giving up just five hits and he got plenty of offensive help as the Aitkin Steam won its first game of the season, beating visiting Randall 15-5 Sunday at Woock Field.

Cluff, fresh off his season at Concordia, walked two and struck out six to pick up the win. Tanner Hills, who plays at Mn. North-Itasca, took care of the final two innings, walking two and striking out one. Zack Ehnstrom went 4-5 at the plate and knocked in two runs while his brother, Nathan, was 3-5 with two runs batted in and Jon Blanchette was 3-5 with three runs batted in.
