CITY OF AITKIN PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Aitkin Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 30, 2020 beginning at 6:00 PM at the Aitkin Public Library Community Room 110 1st Ave. NE The public hearing is to consider an application from John Heins requesting an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the Future Land Use Map designation from Rural Transition to Residential, and requesting an amendment to the City Zoning Map to change the zoning from Commercial Highway to Urban Residential on the properties identified as PID #56-0-177100, PID #56-0-176900, and PID #56-0-17700. The property includes approximately 7.94 acres in total and is located east of Highway 169, north and south of the Ripple River, at the southeast end of Riverdale Drive, and is addressed as 400 Riverdale Drive. All persons wishing to be heard on the above items should attend the meeting. Written comments may be submitted directly to the Administration Office or by email to cityadmin@ci.aitkin.mn.us no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2020.
