History was made during recreational play on Sunday, Feb. 19 when Lori Blomberg scored a “Golden Pickle”. This was a first for the Isle Area Pickleball Association. A Golden Pickle is declared when the first server of a game, scores 11 consecutive points, with never a side out, winning the game 11 to 0. A Golden Pickle is similar to pitching a no-hitter or bowling a 300. Congrats, Lori, and her partner Dillon. Pictured is (left) Lori Blomberg accepting her Golden Pickle award from Karen Tramm.
