Garrison: Fireworks will begin at dusk on Thursday, July 4, over Garrison Bay near the concourse.

Glen: On Thursday, July 4, the patriotic parade starts at 10:30 a.m. (line-up at 10 a.m.). There is free lemonade and hot dogs and brats will be available for purchase. Bring a lawn chair and a tray to carry lemonade (as it will no longer be delivered along the parade route). Enjoy some time with friends and feel proud to be an American. The Glen 5K walk/run begins at 8 a.m. on North Clear Lake Road. On Friday, July 5, and Saturday, July 6, the French Hillbillies will perform from 7-8 p.m., and the Muddcat Melbys will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight. Hillman: Hillman’s Fourth of July celebration kicks off with a parade at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 4. Activities will include softball tournament, horseshoes, beer gardens, bouncy house, dunk tank, lots of food and crafts.

McGrath: On Thursday, July 4, a free pancake breakfast will be offered at the fire hall from 7 - 9 a.m. The kiddie parade begins at 10:45 a.m. and the main parade follows at 11 a.m. Food will be provided by community groups at noon. Kids games start at 1 p.m. in the town park. Horseshoe toss to be held at 1 p.m. at Pour Lewey’s (sign-up by noon), logging contest at 1:15 p.m. and Pour Lewey’s will host turtle races at 2:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk. The White Pine riders will host a night ATV ride following the fireworks display. Street dance featuring Buzzardz will be held from 4-6 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. Car show, beer garden, flea market, drawings and concessions to be held throughout the day.

Onamia: Onamia’s celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 3. Dan’s Catering will begin selling food at noon, and the beer garden open at 4 p.m. Line up for this year’s new four wheeler parade begins at 6 p.m. with the parade following at 6:30 p.m. Activities to include lawn games at the beer garden and a pie booth. Cash prize raffle will be held following fireworks. Live music will be provided by Switch starting at 8 p.m. Fireworks starts at dusk, around 10 p.m.

Wahkon: On Thursday, July 4, fireworks will begin at dusk. The best viewing will be from Veteran’s Park. In case of rain, fireworks will be held Friday, July 5. As the launch will be done on the bay this year, Bear Ass Beach will not be closed for setup.
