DIY Rocket Ships at Aitkin Library

Macramé is back! Learn the basic knots of macramé and create something all your own at an Introduction to Macramé workshop set from 2-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 at the McGregor Public Library.

Recommended for ages 12 and up, the class does require registration. Sign up today on the events calendar at or check with library staff at the front desk. Space is limited.

This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

DIY Rocket Ships at Aitkin Library

Grab your family and blast off to the library for a morning of designing and building your own rocket ships … out of cardboard boxes!

The Do-It-Yourself Rocket Ships program is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, July 20 at the Aitkin Public Library. Each family will get a set of materials to build their own ship. You can either take home your creation or leave it at the library for display over the rest of summer!

Supplies are limited, and registration is required on the events calendar at Only one person from each group needs to register. Please note how many will be participating in your group. Each family requires at least one adult participant.
