On Saturday, July 20, at 7 p.m., Malmo Free Church is pleased to present Due North.
The Due North girls have been singing and performing together for over 25 years. Loise Weermaa is from the Duluth area and plays rhythm guitar. Deb Tuominen is from the Tower area and plays standup bass. Their amazing, sister-like harmony brings you the best vocals of Old Country, Bluegrass and Gospel music. They have performed at countless festivals, churches, radio stations and benefits throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and even Canada. They have even recorded three CD’s. In the last several years, Tedd Williams, from Twig, Minn., has performed with Due North. Along with his great vocals, Tedd’s talents include playing the banjo, guitar, and dobro.
Come as you are and bring a lawn chair to enjoy Malmo Church’s 25th year of great music in the outdoors. Malmo Church is located near the junction of hwys. 47 and 18 on Hwy. 18 near the northeast corner of Mille Lacs.
