The Mille Lacs Historical Society Museum was a popular destination Saturday, Sept. 28, as it once again played host to Isle’s Old Tyme Fall Fest. A range of sights and vendors could be found in and around the museum. Mille Lacs Lake Historical Society vice president Gaynelle Templin stood beside the museum’s new display of local quilts. Local metalworker Jason Beamish, a vendor at the event, had helped build the display. Judy Nelson and Rebecca Heimark were busy making lefse at the Sons of Norway Tusenvann Lodge’s concession stand.
