Edward F. Brown, 1954 to 1962, Corporal, from Waconia, Minn., is seen here with his platoon, seated in the front row, second from the right. He enlisted when he was about 20 years old with a group of hometown friends. He worked with heavy equipment cranes and bulldozers, did a lot of township and city work for the Waconia area, and is a member of the 49ers Union. He now resides in Aitkin.
