Rhubarb season is here

Rhubarb plants thrive in full sun, but will tolerate some shade.

Rhubarb Custard Cake

INGREDIENTS:

1 yellow cake mix

1 1/4 c. sugar

4 c. chopped rhubarb

1 1/2 c. whipping cream

Prepare batter for a yellow cake mix according to package directions. Pour into a 9 x 13 cake pan. Mix sugar and rhubarb together and sprinkle over cake batter. Pour whipping cream over the top.

Bake at 360 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
