Donovan Davis Jr., 35-year-old resident of Onamia, Minn., passed away on July 3, 2019, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Visitation was on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation.
A Funeral Ceremony was held on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation with Lee Staples officiating. Interment was in Vineland Burial Grounds. Arrangements were with the Shelley Funeral Chapel of Onamia.
Bezhigoo- gaabaw, Donovan “Deebo” Davis Jr. was born on February 16, 1984 in Onamia, Minnesota to Donovan Nickaboine-Davis Sr. and Dawn Day. He enjoyed shopping, collecting basketball shoes, and jerseys. Donovan liked to spend his time gaming on his PS4, watching sports, repairing his car, and being with his dog, Buster. He will always be remembered for his smile and sense of humor.
