Niizhoogaabawiikwe, Kateri Boswell, 55-year-old resident of Onamia, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at Cedars of St. Louis Park in St. Louis Park, Minn.
A funeral ceremony was held on Sunday, Dec. 29, at the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation with Lee Staples officiating. Visitation was on Saturday, Dec. 28.
Arrangements were with the Shelley Funeral Chapel of Onamia.

Niizhoogaabawiikwe, Kateri Lynn Boswell was born on April 15, 1964 in Onamia, Minn., to Roger Boswell and Frances Davis. She loved her family. Being with her grandchildren, mom, and sister was how she liked to spend her time. Kateri enjoyed cooking, playing keno, and bingo. She will be greatly missed by all.
