Mia Antonia Ortley passed away on January 29, 2020, and soon welcomed her great-grandma Sylvia “Grandma Spoon” Ortley to the spirit world shortly after her own arrival.
Mia is survived by parents, Jamie Rancour and Anthony Ortley; sister, Aziyah LeBeau, age 3; Aunt and Uncle, Ta’Lana Ortley and Charles Ortley; cousins, Riley Rancour, Lucio Ortley-Rivera, Kiara Roy, Kyron Roy, Kyle Roy, Jr., Reiko Sanchez-Cordero, Jordan Sanchez-Cordero, Andre Haywood, and Renee Cordero; grandparents, Brian and Denise Rancour of Wahkon, Stephanie Ortley of Minneapolis, Minn.; great-grandparents, Jim and Phyllis Flasch of Onamia, Minn.; and may other relatives.
Mia is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Herbert and Joni Rancour; great-great-grandparents, Vernon and Elnora Jones, Alvin and Audrey Flasch; special uncles, Bruce “Swift” Armstrong, Jr., Jonathan Barbour, Christopher Lee Ortley and Taylor Townsend; great-uncle, Samuel Ortley, Sr.; great-great uncle, Stephen Ortley.
Mia Antonia Ortley was born January 29, 2020, in Princeton, Minn., to Jamie Rancour and Anthony Ortley of Minneapolis. Mia was eager to enter the world, arriving early and weighing 1 pound and 3.6 ounces. Mia was most active at bedtime, after she was fed blueberries and pepperoni pizza, and when she heard music from Yo Gotti. At her most recent checkup she measure in the 97 percentile for tummy growth. Mia’s dad encouraged her to try and acquire a taste for Hot Cheetos, but mom said “No”!
