Your Boat Club

Water recreation is an ever-present facet of the Mille Lacs Lake community, and when it comes to getting a boat out on the water, a new area business, Your Boat Club, would like to give local boaters a hand. Your Boat Club has been operating through Eddy’s Resort on Hwy. 169 since mid-July of this year, and according to founder Luke Kujawa, they aim to “take the hassles out of boating.”

Your Boat Club was first established in 2009, south of the Twin Cities in Prior Lake. In the decades since, they expanded their business to 13 other locations in Minnesota, two in Wisconsin and one in Illinois. “I’ve been in the marina business basically my whole life,” Kujawa explained. His family owns Crystal-Pierz Marine, and he started Your Boat Club to “help more people get out on the water.”

By paying an annual membership with Your Boat Club, customers gain access to any of the club’s boats on their 16 lakes. In addition to this membership access, Your Boat Club also offers their boats as daily rentals. The Your Boat Club locations also offer a variety of other services as well as storage.

Noting that Mille Lacs was a great fishery, Kujawa said Your Boat Club aims to offer high end fishing boats and pontoons to their customers. These options currently include Lund 1875 Impacts and Bennington pontoons. In the future, Kujawa noted, Your Boat Club could also branch out to offering speed boats at the location.

“It’s really about convenience,” Kujawa said. “That’s the whole premise of our business.” He added that Eddy’s was a nice resort, and its location along the lake’s west shore was accessible, particularly for boaters coming up from the North Metro area. Kujawa noted the location at Eddy’s Resort offered Your Boat Club customers access to Mille Lacs’ fantastic fishery with the resort’s restaurant close by. “We decided [Eddy’s] had a lot to offer,” Kujawa said, “primarily sticking with our main value proposition to our customers, and that’s convenience.”

“Boating and fishing has always been my passion,” Kujawa added. “I grew up fishing Mille Lacs, and I just love the area. We’re excited to be here.”

Details on membership packages available and services offered can be found at the club’s website ( or by calling (612) 208-1800. Your Boat Club can be found at Eddy’s Resort, located at 41334 Shakopee Lake Road, Onamia, Minn.
