Five people arrested, facing drug charges after months long investigation

Following months of investigation from Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force, a search warrant was executed with the assistance from Princeton Police Department at a home in Princeton on Tuesday, Feb. 26. Five people were arrested and are currently facing felony drug charges in Mille Lacs County District Court.

Large amounts of marijuana, methamphetamine, cash, drug paraphernalia and a digital scale and baggies were located at the residence on the 33XX block of 85th Avenue in Princeton.

Steven Lee Mason, 60, Ricky James Ziebarth, 58, and Ashley Ann Longino, 38, all reside at the residence of the search warrant and were arrested along with Elvis Saltsman, Jr., 51, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, and Tyshaunie Marlene Chiffon Rollen, 27, of Minneapolis. Ziebarth is facing felony third-degree drug charges. Mason, Longino and Saltsman are facing felony fifth-degree drug charges. Rollen is facing gross misdemeanor fifth-degree drug charges.

In total, over 30 grams of methamphetamine and nearly 8 ounces of marijuana were found in various locations throughout the home along with various types of paraphernalia and over $1,300 cash.

Rollen and Saltsman were scheduled to appear in Mille Lacs County District Court on Feb. 28. Longino is scheduled to appear in the same court on March 12. Ziebarth and Mason are scheduled to appear in the same court on April 9.
