Onamia Creamery

Mille Lacs County Board of Commissioners at their regular board meeting on Sept. 24 voted to hold onto the former Onamia Creamery property and building which was tax forfeited in 2017.

In April, the county board made the decision to hold it from sale for six months which were up in October. The county decided to hold onto the property to allow more time to explore a possible site for the Northern Law Enforcement Center in Onamia.

The motion passed with Mille Lacs County Commissioner Tim Wilhelm voting against the property purchase.
