On the morning of March 29, a vehicle traveling on Hwy. 210 crashed and killed the driver.

According to a Minnesota State Patrol incident report, Raymond Lawrence Nelson, 53, of Tamarack, was traveling east on Hwy. 210, near milepost 180 in a 1996 Mazda pickup. His vehicle left the road, colliding with the guardrail and rolling into the south ditch.

There were snow and ice conditions on the road. It is unknown if Nelson was wearing a seatbelt. Aitkin County assisted at the scene.

No alcohol was believed to be involved.
