Wednesday, August 14:

1 - 2 p.m.: Trail Walk: Woods, Wings & Wildlife

A 1/2-mile accessible trail walk and discussion about the Kathio forest as well as the birds and other animals that make it place their home.

Thursday, August 15:

10:30 - 11 a.m.: Wolf Wonders

A talk about the natural history of gray wolves followed by a family-friendly nature film.

Friday, August 16:

10 a.m. - noon: Fishing Friday Mornings

Let’s go fishing! Learn all about fishing – identifying species, casting and more. Poles, bait and instructors provided. Minnesota residents do not need a fishing license for this activity.

Saturday, August 17:

10:30 - 11:10 a.m.: Wolf Wonders

A talk about the natural history of gray wolves ollowed by a family-friendly, nature film.

2 - 2:45 p.m.: Kids’ Activity: Nocturnal Wildlife BINGO

Learn about area wildlife whi­­­le trying to get a Bingo to win a cool prize!

Sunday, August 18:

10:30 - 11:15 a.m.: Habitat Hike

A walk along an accessible 1/2-mile trail to explore different habitats and learn about the importance of the natural homes.

All activities meet at the Interpretive Center.

Learn about the amazing world of these fascinating little creatures ...and take home a “souvenir” you make yourself. Meet at the Enclosed Lakeview Picnic Shelter.
