IHS Volleyball - Emily Miller

Isle starter

Emily Miller has been a mainstay in the front-court as a setter and the back-court as a digger for the Isle Huskies varsity volleyball team.

The Pine City Dragons showed off their top-tier volleyball power in the conference on Sept. 17 when they dominated the visiting Isle Huskies, winning the match in three straight sets.

The Huskies could managed just seven kills throughout the entire three games with junior Tommi Spengler accounting for four of the seven.

Spengler also led the team in digs and made good on 20 of 23 serve received attempts.

Mary Ajax led the team in blocks, and Emily Miller led Isle in set assists.

The loss left the Huskies with an over-all record of 1-5 heading into a tournament scheduled for Sept. 21 in Staples.
