    Hill City Area Lions Club will host their 18th annual ice fishing contest on Saturday, Feb. 11. The contest will run noon-3 p.m. on Hill Lake and at the city beach and campground. Entry is $10 per ticket.

    The annual Minnewawa Sportsmen Club to ice fishing tournament/raffle on Lake Minnewawa near McGregor will be held from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. There is no need to register. To enter the tournament, you simply need to purchase a raffle ticket from sportsman club members.

  • United Way/UPS Ice Fishing Tournament

    4th Annual United Way/UPS Tournament will take place on Mille Lacs Lake on Saturday, Feb. 10 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Nitti’s Hunter’s Point Resort in Isle. The tournament is hosted by UPS and the United Way. Sponsors include Polaris, Cabela’s, Nitti’s Hunters Point Resort, Clam and AMP.

  • Minnewawa Sportsmen’s Club fishing contest

    The Minnewawa Sportsmen’s Club will host a fishing contest and raffle from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, on Lake Minnewawa.

    The 34th annual McGregor Area Lakes Fishing Tournament sponsored by the McGregor Area Chamber of Commerce will be held on Saturday, June 3.

    Perch and Pout Contest will take place on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Nitti’s Hunters Point Resort in Isle.

    Feb. 18: Perch and Pout Contest will be held at Nitti’s Hunters Point Resort starting at 7 a.m. Weigh-in is at 3 p.m. sharp at the resort. The button entry fee is $10. Produce will also be available and will be more abundant as the season progresses. A diversity of products will be available each week.
